MIND BLOWN…Erupting Iceland Volcano…COMPLETELY SPEECHLESS!
“8 hours, 32,000 steps, tons of sulfur, + severely sore toes…and it’s a bucket list experience I’ll never forget!”
So LUCKY! A couple weeks before our already planned trip to Iceland the volcano started erupting. And, let me tell you…it ended up being one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen in my life. There are no words for how epic + mesmerizing it is to watch exploding lava in person. I couldn’t get over how vibrant the orange was. It looked FAKE! Like CGI.
Originally, we booked a helicopter tour but surrounding bushfires + a shift in wind direction caused it to cancel. So…I decided to hike it instead. 8 hours, 32,000 steps, tons of sulfur, + severely sore toes…and it’s a bucket list experience I’ll never forget!
Again, no words can describe it…you’ll have to watch it for yourself.
