Hunting for waterfalls in Northern Patagonia was a blast!
And, Cascada El Maqui didn’t disappoint.
It was quite the adventure getting to these 6+ beauties.

Let me tell you…it was worth it!

✨ Jumping into the freezing water…it took a lot of convincing
✨ Enjoying my 2nd time with cold exposure…first time was in Antarctica
✨ The stunning view of Lake Bertrand + surrounding mountains from the top
✨ A woman finding Brad’s passport + returning it to him [fell out of his pocket]

There must be an easier trail than the one we stumbled upon, but just in case be prepared to climb with both hands.
Not gonna lie…it was a lil nerve racking at times. The trail was poorly marked.
